| Madam Chartreuse First fell in love with breaking the sound barrier in Texas during the spring of 2000. It was there that she ordered her first custom set of bull whips and sunsets were never the same. She spent every evening training rigorously to learn how to dance with bull whips, and all the while having found a way to set her soul on fire. Quite by chance, while in new Orleans, she hit the stage of the Howling Wolf blues club for the first time and was hooked. ... Chartreuse has performed at various events ranging from Pro Rodeos, Erotic Croquet Parties, Burlesque Shows, guest percussionist for bands. She is known for her ability to play the bull whips as percussion instruments, spinning and snapping with fluid grace, causing audiences to shrink back yet lean forward at the same time. Her burlesque performances are inspired by the dirty blues of New Orleans, and all eclectic music that truly moves her. ... She began performing with Miss Balla Fire in California in 2006, and the two Became the dynamic duo: The Sin Sisters ... Currently performing often in the San Francisco Bay Area ...
